My name is Angela Edwards Shelton and I am the Youth Director at Erwin Church of God.  I was born and raised in Erwin and came home to my roots in November of 2015.  I first accepted God’s call into ministry in 1997 when I became the Children’s Pastor at Lafayette Church of God, in Lafayette, TN.  God greatly blessed that ministry taking it from one teacher and hand full of children to a group of 40+ children and 8 youth and adult leaders.  In the years to follow, I ministered to children and youth, ages 3 – 18, in various churches throughout Middle and East Tennessee, as well as Central and Northwest Florida.  At Erwin Church of God, it is my goal to grow the church by winning the lost young people of our community and town to Jesus by presenting them with something real.  I long to make Jesus relevant in their lives today.
